About the Presenters
Gloryanne Bryant, RHIA, CDIP, CCS, CCDS, AHIMA-Approved ICD-10-CM/PCS Trainer
Gloryanne is an HIM Coding professional and Leader with more than 40 years of experience. She has an RHIA, CDIP, CCS, CCDS, and is an AHIMA-Approved ICD-10-CM/PCS Trainer. In the past she was the National Director of Coding Quality, and Education for a national healthcare system. She was also the key national leader for ICD-10 Coding Education and Training across eight regions from 2010 to mid-2016. Prior to May 2009, she was the Corporate Senior Director of Coding HIM Compliance for Catholic Healthcare West (CHW) Dignity Healthcare for more than eight years.
Gloryanne has conducted numerous educational programs on ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT coding. In addition, she's provided MS-DRG, APR-DRGs, APC (OPPS), HCC, CDI (Clinical Documentation Improvement), leadership and compliance seminars and workshops for hospital and physician-based coding staff, Coding, CDI and HIM Leaders, and others.
In June 2000, Gloryanne received the "CHIA Literary Award" from the California Health Information Association (CHIA) for her many articles related to clinical documentation improvement, compliance, data quality integrity, ethics and coding. In 2003 she received the CHIA award for "Distinguished Member"; June 2015 she received the CHIA "HIM Champion Award" for her extensive advocacy work for and with ICD-10 implementation; and in 2017 the CHIA "Volunteer Award". Gloryanne received the AHIMA Triumph Award" in the category of HIM "Champion" in 2007. She received the Northern California HFMA Award for "Author of the Year" four times for numerous healthcare compliance and regulatory articles and in 2017 she received the "Silver Award" for her many professional contributions. Gloryanne is a member of the ICD10monitor editorial board and a popular guest on Talk Ten Tuesdays.

Christine E. Geiger, MA, RHIA, CCS, CRC, AHIMA Approved ICD-10-CM/PCS Trainer
Christine Geiger's career in health information management (HIM) started in 1986. She has worked at large and mid-sized healthcare facilities in many roles where she gained a thorough understanding of HIM management. Her coding career, which also began in 1986, includes working in hospitals as both an employee and a consultant. Her experience also includes quality assurance, service analyst, and as a coding instructor for Saint Louis University.
During the ICD-10 preparation period, Ms. Geiger assisted organizations with ICD-9 to ICD-10 mapping and e-form revisions to help clinicians capture ICD-10 required elements. She is certified in the risk adjusted coding requirements of Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCCs) and provides inpatient coding support and coding compliance services. She is proficient in patient-driven payment model (PDPM) coding requirements and has conducted numerous pre-PDPM audits to gauge coding education requirements and has presented on the topic in various venues.
Ms. Geiger has a master's degree from Washington University and a B.S. degree from Saint Louis University. She is an active member of the Missouri and American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and the American Academy of Professional Coders.
